On one hand you are correct that people should not be charged for a joke, however, a precedent was set when the first one was charged, so by law, it should be done equally. Second of all, technically because he first one was charged with a crime of election interference, so should the second one, as now it shows as technically interfering in the election by legal standards. The biden admin should never have done it, but they did, so they set the precedent and should now have to abide by it.
I agree, it’s now case law. It has nothing to do with Kimmel’s poor taste, unfunny attempts at humor. It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with the Dems made it into a law. It can’t just be one-sided. It’s now on the books.

He should have gone to jail years ago when he had a show “What’s in My Pocket?” Kimmel would ask people on the street to guess what was in his pocket, which was near his privates (I don’t remember if it was a jacket pocket or his pants pocket). Many of the people on the street were young girls, teenage. I saw a short clip on YouTube and it was disgusting. I don’t know if it was ever on TV or if it was a one-time clip. Who thought that concept was OK? I don’t even remember how I came across it. I certainly wasn’t looking up Kimmel.
