Would Johnson been successful in getting enough votes for an ideal conservative bill? No. Would he have been successful engaging the Republican members prior to the initially drafted bill? No, even though he probably should have. Has he been a good Speaker? For the most part…..YES. Who would want this Speaker’s job and be able to deal with the communist democraps and keep their “cool”. There is also a time problem if the Republicans try to replace Johnson before January 20. They better vote him in again. He has probably learned enough not to disappoint the Republicans. I like Donalds and the Liz Chaney slayer too, but not this time around. I agree with the worry over continued terror attacks and feel that the inauguration should be changed to a different venue to avoid any assignation attempts.
